Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius (SSCM) is a provider of faith and religion on so many levels. They have been reaching out to all for 111 years and still going strong. They are a community-based Church located in the Danville, Pennsylvania area. SSCM holds many events throughout the year and assists those who may need and remind others to do so too.
challenge
SSCM was in the market for a fresh online appearance with an updated brand component and a fresh online appearance that was in line with their strategic efforts.
outcome
Logo: The new logo brand component needed to reflect SSCM’s current logo as well as SSCM’s traditional values. Using their current four-block design, we revised to a new layout and font. Using tight kerning and leading in representing the solidarity of their efforts and a new contemporary look while maintaining the traditional feel, the new logo was approved.
Website: The new website will benefit from improved user experience, enhanced search engine friendliness, mobile-friendliness, and manageable content. We applied user experience protocols, intuitive design methodologies, and mobile-ready best practices. The website includes multiple features and functionalities that will improve the overall efforts of SSCM, including online donations via a merchant account with Donor Perfect and online event registration.
